Ze Cherman AutoFest 2008! Wünderbar!

Well I decided to attend the 2008 Shannons German Autofest - held in Commonwealth Place on the shores of lake Burley Griffin. Perhaps not the best thing to have done on this particular weekend as the Floriade flower show clogged the roads with elderly drivers - mostly from victoria - that bluntly scare me.

The show was set up very well - each car club had their own section, eventually working it's way down to the Audi club in the far right corner of the grounds, right on the shores of the lake. Kudos to the E34 crowd - including a former colleague of mine - who were more than happy to let me wander around aimlessly & eat their free sanga sandwiches . It was a beautiful day but I'm afraid I got very sunburnt. and no, there are no photos of that.

Regardless, I'll get on with the business of posting some photos for y'all.

I didn't think borgwards were exported.
I've seen one hansa wagon here in the states, but for some reason in the back of my mind i though they were only for sale in europe.
