Is it a popularity contest or a photo contest?
Sorry, I think your request is absurd. If you feel others are doing this to win, enter your photos somewhere else.
I would also urge the moderators on this board to make an effort to STRESS the importance of voting on the photographic quality of entries and not "the car," or flames, or wrecks etc. If it's a photo contest, judge the photo in it's entirety. There are three very simple criteria. Technical quality, composition and overall aesthetics. So is it clear, in focus with excellent color rendition? Is it framed / composed in an interesting compelling way? And lastly, would you like to see it hanging on your wall?
Last but not least, you should never choose a photo based on the entrant. That's not fair to anyone... including the person you're voting for. You're not helping them get better.
