You don't see me watching Bill O'Reilly's show.

I think that was basically it.

About the lorry challenge it was fine but possibly too out of touch with cars. I laughed on several bits of it, but it's not one of those parts you want to watch over and over again.

Overall a 7/10, a fine start for this series.

to have that long lorry challenge and to basically get short changed on the actual car reviews was a disappointment, seemed they didn't get much done in the time they had?

edit: still, at least it's better than TGA

I enjoy the show, I am just growing tired of Clarkson.

I still watched the F1 despite the fact that I hated James Allen.

Just don't take TG seriously. If you want to be informed about cars, this isn't the right program for you.

    They used caravans as well...

They just did a challenge with something they hate, just like they did with the caravans. They frequently talk about lorries in the news segment.

yeah, but it's not what i expected on their first episode of the series. lets face it: an hour of TV and one car review?
fifth gear has it's flaws and i dislike watching it but they at least get reviews out quicker and more often.

Top Gear doesn't always have to be serious.
After all, it's more about great entertainment, and it pulls that off admirably.
So stop whining. No matter what anyone says, it's probably one of the greatest television programmes of all time.

Beh, the best part of the show in my eyes are the comical car reviews and comparos; a sprinkling of zany tasks along the season would be fun as well, but it sounds as though this one was too biased in favour of that.

We're American you damn pinko commie bastard.

If Clarkson annoys you, you're taking him way too seriously.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
