    2009 Z4 watch

Just found this pic on e89.zpost.com. I'm glad they dropped the style line from the A-pillar to the front wheel arch.

Other than that, more of the same?

That is just terrible. If BMW is moving in that direction the may god have mercy on our souls.

He says, as if BMW are even remotely good looking as it is...
5, 6, 7 - series, anyone? And don't get me started on the bloody X6.

I'd go so far as to say i prefer it to the current one. It looks leaner - the lower front end could look good, but i can't make out all the details, yet.

The Z4 M coupe looked real nice. Especially from the rear. The headlights didn't look too good then though. Is the next Z4 going to lose the coupe?

Hope they don't screw it up!

I liked the old Z3 M Coupe (more like a hatchback) and found the Z4 coupe just ugly. Maybe the new Z4 hardtop will be more like the breadvan Z3 coupe.

Also dont like the folding hardtop on the convertible (which might be the only one they make). Soft tops are just simpler and lighter for this kind of car

I liked both coupe versions actually. They both have their own style.

They might just weld the roof shut to make it a coupe.

    Simple and easy!

agreed about liking the M Coupe (as it was properly known at the time), but that design woudl not have fit on the Z4, and as this just looks like a refresh and not a new design, i doubt it would work on this one either. they could prove me wrong however.

the folding hardtop almost makes sense on the 3 series, but on the Z it surely does not.

This looks much bigger than the old Z4 and has a folding metal roof. I'm worried all this added weight will destroy the driving dynamics.

It also probably means no Coupe this time.

it could look horrid but as long as it drives like a BMW and performs like one, i will love it!

Love it. I think the new 7 is kind of boring and I'm not crazy about the X1, but I think this looks absolutely fantastic.

I like the current Z4 but from that pic it appears enough of the original design is carried over that I'll like the new one also. I wish the side slash had been retained...I liked it but I know it bothered a lot of people.
