    The Stig speaks

I was bored so I translated the first two episodes of the Stig's Morse code:

    On the Gallardo:
    "me like cheese"
    "strictly is crap"

    On the Abarth:
    "i voted ross perot"
    "me smell cats"

I had to record the audio into Audacity, slow the speed down by 80% then reference a chart to try and figure out what was bleeped.

I didn't translate the fourth episode as I was too tired and besides, someone else did it already...

    On the IS-F:
    "too many gears"
    "i like mr sulu"

Apart from the too many gears comment, just a bunch of nonsensical one liners it seems.

I gotta keep up with Top Gear!

I can't really download stuff at school. So I'll probably download it all during the break. I did catch episode 5 on Youtube. The buses were awesome!

Too bad only Hamster drove one. All the other were pro drivers.

The UK was broadcasting one of those crap "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" shows and George Takei was on it. So another cross-show dig

In regaurds to the Stig, UCP should make a thread where users create their own Stig introductions like Clarkson does. I've seen it on other sites, and some of them turned out to be pretty amusing. Just a thought.

Maybe. I have the feeling it will die pretty quickly though.

    Feel free to do it.

I'm just thinking FinalGear has probably done it and their community is bigger than ours, and much more focused on the matter. Trying to avoid redundancy here.

But the Internet is a free place. Ish.

not that bigger really, just 1000 more active members right now (but we have mar overall!)

and they're not just more focused, they are basically narrow minded about TG.

I'll try to put up the translations from ep5 and ep6 as well some time (don't have it in my possession yet unfortunately).

Maybe we can make this thread a sort of short-list of likely suspects on who the Stig might be. I know the popular opinion is that it may be many different people, but what the heck, might be fun.

I don't want to spoil your fun Kooper but, Wiki sorted the Morse code out already: Top Gear (series 12) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
