Dacia Sandero available at car maker’s agents starting tomorrow, 4th June

As of tomorrow, 4th June, Sandero, the fifth model of the range, can be ordered within the car maker’s agent network. With a 6,890-Euro entry price and a three-year or 100,000-km guarantee, Dacia Sandero stands out as the most attractive offer in its segment. The new model is available in five equipment versions: -“Sandero”, “Ambiance”, “Preference”, “Laureate” and “Prestige”. Sandero is the first vehicle to display the brand’s new logo.
Dacia Sandero is the first hatchback model ever built by the car maker: modern, multifunctional and affordable, it addresses young, sensible and pragmatic customers, while presenting itself as very appealing to a more feminine clientele. The 1.4 75 HP and the 1.6 90 HP engines will be introduced first on the new model, followed by two diesel engines: the 1.5 dCi 70 HP and the 1.5 dCi 85 HP.
“Sandero” is priced at 6,890 Euros. The 1.4 75 HP versions also comprises a driver’s airbag, the ABS and the EBA (Emergency Brake Assist) systems, 3 rear height adjustable safety belts, radio equipment and a folding rear seats.
“Ambiance” price-tag is set at 7,350 Euros for the 1.4 75 HP engine and at 7,750 Euros for the 1.6 90 CH engine. “Ambiance” can receive the following equipment, depending on the engine choice: body colour radiator grill, grey side protective strips, boot lighting, air recycling. The metallic paint, the CD radio, the passenger front and lateral airbags, the assisted direction can come as optional equipment.
“Preference” can be ordered for a price between 8 050 euros and 8 450 euros, depending on the preferred engine version. In addition to the equipments present on “Ambiance”, “Preference” introduces the CD radio, the electric front windows, remote central locking, hydraulic assisted direction, passenger airbag and two rear height adjustable head rests. Customers can also choose between the metallic paint, the fog lamps and the front lateral airbags. Maintenance costs have decreased by 17% for the petrol engine versions and by 34% for the diesel engine versions.
„Laureate”heads for the upscale segment in terms of equipment; the price tag is set between 8 950 euros and 9 350 euros for the two type of engines available. The additional equipment comprises body colour defrost electric rear mirrors, fog lamps, dashboard computer, manual air conditioning, height adjustable steering wheel, folding and 1/3, 2/3 retractable rear seats. The options include metallic paint, lateral front airbags, rear electric windows, aluminium rims and CD MP3 radio.
„Prestige”, the top version of Dacia Sandero boasting a 1.6 l 90 HP engine, has been priced at 9 850 Euros. A very first in the range, “Prestige” comes in harmonized interior and beige upholstery. The additional equipment counts the aluminium rims, the beige upholstery, leather steering wheel and gear knob, rear electric windows and MP3 CD radio. The metallic paint and the front lateral airbags come as optional equipment.
All prices of the Dacia Sandero range are inclusive of tax.
Dacia Sandero is now officially available on the Romanian market, shortly after being revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Sandero is the fifth model of the Dacia model range, already counting two personal vehicles, the Logan sedan and the Logan MCV, and two utility vehicles, the Logan VAN and the Logan Pick-Up. The model holds all the trumps to convince young and pragmatic customers: generous dimensions (4.02 m long, 1.75 m wide and 2.59 m wheelbase; 320 litres of boot volume), low CO2 emissions and small servicing and maintenance costs.
The Romanians stand for 45% of the engineers that have been working on the project. The sums invested in the production of the model amount to 147 million Euros. During this year, Dacia Sandero will be progressively exported in Western Europe, Turkey at Maghreb.
Dacia Sandero was officially launched in Romania today, the 3rd June, during a magic sound and colour show, under the motto: “Dacia Sandero, a fabulous presence”.
