    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

That's why John McCain can't be president.
It doesn't matter if you're vice-prez. I bet Biden and Cheney are slower'n hell.
    But, to be a president...

Yeah, its name is Ahmed Ahdoody.

Such an awesome parting gift. I don't think there has ever been a US president that has ever been so unpopular.

There has been, just not very recently. Nixon probably could have claimed the title due to the fact he almost got impeached, but was still kind of popular for the whole china thing. I honestly htink that with the kind of journalism we get these days somebody like kennedy never would have been that popular, if he hadn't gotten killed.

i heard someone in the gulf offered $20,000 for the pair.

Honestly i was impressed with Bush's reflexes. I dont think he will be visiting Iraq again.
However i must say that this incident doesnt surprise me, bearing in mind how much the people in the region detest him.

Yet more fun. And the price is now up to $10m.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Shoe thrower 'beaten in custody'

I think it's interesting that his brother says he's been beaten, but people aren't being allowed to see the man. How does he know he's been beaten? I still haven't slept, so I may be missing something major here, but it seems weird.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was. Threatening the President of the United States, albeit in a rather comical way, and a beatdown is the least of your worries.

nixon had a low rating, but nowhere near as low as Bush's. And he was impeached, and resigned following that outcome. He wasn't a baller like Clinton who ended up with his highest approval ratings after he was impeached.

EDIT: Bush's lowest is 19% approval. next lowest is Truman with 22%, then Nixon with 24%.
