    Shot of the Year

General Photography Shot of the Year: Congratulations Sauc3!

Automotive Shot of the Year: Congratulations NuclearCrap

Well a hearty congratulations to Sauc3 for winning the general shot of the year, and NuclearCrap for winning the automotive shot of the year. Both are beautiful photographs, and stood out among a year full of great shots. For your prize, I award you UCP recognition and Internet bragging rights. Perhaps if either of you are ever in the Toronto area, I'll buy you a congratulatory pint.

Well, I give props to pat_ernzen for coming out of nowhere and dominating. Even though right now he is second, he could pull ahead at any time. So i guess i predict him winning.

Haha, thanks. John really started to dominate when he showed up, though, I'd already stopped entering regularly by then. Not saying he wouldn't have dominated if I had been entering, just saying. Still, I'm proud to have half the year's shots of the month, haha. There's usually a bunch of quality stuff every month, though, so there were a ton of great shots this year.

Darn, I split my own vote. If I add all of them up, I get 21 votes, haha. Congrats NuclearCrap, Sauc3 and everyone else. Definitely some very nice shots between the two categories.

I want to give a loud round of applose (stupid iPhone and it's spell checker) out to Zepplin. You did a fantastic job keeping up with the photocomps this entire year. Having put a few up in years past, I know how much time and dedication it takes. I'm saying thanks for all UCP's users.

Oh and congrats you two and the fantastic photos.
