How do you do HDR?

Three (or more) photos of the same object but with different exposures. Usually a light one captures your object, a dark one captures the sky, the one in the middle everything else...

Then photoshop or photomatix to put them together and get the best of all of them into one photo.

I would like to suggest a post competion critique thread. Other than judging by the number of votes I receive I have no idea why someone liked or disliked my entry, why it was good or why it was bad. I am always open for critique. So feel free to make comments or PM me. I could just use some feedback.
