Horch - the very last Horch

    the last Horch #1

it is based on a 1939 Horch 830 Pullman, but was built after WW2 as a birthday present to one of the Horch chiefs. The car was sold shortly after that and found its way to USA where a car collector bought it in the 60s. Since then it stood all years in the sun of Texas until it was found there in 2008. Now it is back in Ingolstadt/Germany.

Why would they not want to restore it?

It was a short special to show the car after it came back from USA

Ah, I see. The diorama doesn't look that well done anyway.

If you find it I will change the thread title. I'm looking for it but can't find it.

Somewhere (for example, here ) it's called simply 1953 Horch 830 BL, just like the one it was based on. Don't know whether this name is real or just like 'let's give it a name'.

I love stories like that. Who would have guessed that the last Horch ever built was hiding in plain sight in Texas, of all places? Just hiding out among comparatively ordinary American hulks, waiting to be found and recognized.
