There's nothing attractive about it...but I'm sure it's purpose was never to be a show piece.

Wow- if you want to make a Caparo driver look like they care too much about aesthetics- this is the car to buy. Very nice, a new car with a niche, not just another run of the mill supercar wannabe. Artega, Farbio, Ascari: I'm looking at you.
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.
"Oh sh*t, we're going..25!!" - A dear friend of mine.
I thought that too, but after a couple days watching at pictures of it, I started seeing lines and details I was at first missing (due to the uglyness of the car).
now I like it, not desperately or deeply, but put it int this way: it became the answer to a question I wasn't capable of asking, yet.

Why is the cockpit so tall?
I think I like it.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
Looks like another track day car.
You like this but don't like the Gumpert Apollo, Leon?
I don't think it's as big as you might think. I think he is just sunk into the cockpit a bit too much. Other than the height of the cockpit, I like it. New background.
correct. the Gumpert is just form after function, while this (perhaps not the R iteration) is full of lines creating a silhouette, soft lines wrapping the whole car. Even the front and rear spoilers (those present also on the old car) are designed to look like actual plane's wings, while on the Apollo, they are just racing spoiler.
That's the good thing of the Apollo, it's really a racing car, but wasn't something someone else couldn't come up with. (just considering the look, not the aero or the specs).
5 meters long, 2 meters wide. that's an S-Klasse.
