Not sure if this has been discussed here or not, apparently there is going to be a rewind feature so you can go back and fix any mistakes you've made previously on the track.
At the E3 2009 Microsoft Press Conference, Turn 10 mentioned a rewind feature, but did not say exactly what it did. It was later revealed on G4's day 1 E3 2009 coverage that the rewind feature will allow players to turn back time to fix previous mistakes made on the track. The rewind feature has no limit on how many times it can be done or time between rewinds
Miscommunication seems to be a direct result of misplaced, text based sarcasm.
Basically you don't need an 1.8T anymore to always win.
Cause you can nevAr loose with any car now.
The suck.

that's what she said
Sounds like something featured in SCAR, the "tiger effect".
It was an ability that allowed you to rewind from 1 sec to X secs depending on your level, so to recover mistakes, accidents and other stuff. Once you used it, it takes some times to recharge to the previous level.
I didn't use it for 99% of the races, and when I used it, the feeling of cheating was worst than running a 500 bhp car against 5 Yaris' in GT.
It isn't a completely bad idea (not for a sim though), but it should be available for far less time, like 0,5 sec at best.

Its fine - just dont use it if you dont like it.
Its the same as the one button driving (high input from the assists).
Its designed to make the game far more accessable to a six year old that the second game.

what;s to bet that if you don't use it you get cash bonus, like the assists in FM2.

Hopefully the race/lap time counters will still be ticking up while the rewinding is happening too.. else it would be silly leaderboardwise.
Made me laugh because the stupidity of it.Basically you don't need an 1.8T anymore to always win.

But thats the thing I loved about Forza1&2, you needed actuall understanding of racing to be good at it. You couldnt just jump in if you never played it before and set a good lap. It was NOT just a nother cruisin world/ NFS push the gas down, let a bit, right a bit and win.
*edit* in fact, in games where the braking was done for me/or turn inn before I learned the track, it was like a huge middle finger in my face summing up the fact that since I suck, I will help you because you are a complete noob. I mean, how could you possible have fun just hitting the gas and counting on the fact that the computer will brake you in time for the next turn.

I like drunk rant.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Its to help beginners. On the leaderboards there will be a notation showing which drivers used what aids, what features and downloadable tunes will still be allowed.
You will STILL need a good understanding to post a good time, and no one will be able to jump in and compete to the top level with the one button racing or rewind feature.
