    Those gurney's are in an odd place on the car. They are along the edge of the wheel openings behind the tire, front and rear(looking from the side).

    The RSR has something similar but more integrated into the bodywork.

    They are meant to block the tire from view when seen from behind....in essence a rule compliance plate...
