    Neglegted forum ???

This forum seems to be a lot slower on the posting side of it than a couple of months back. Can it be the boom Facebook has that lured a lot of posters away?? Hopefully not....i think all the to be posters are slaving away to counter the economical resess

The UCP forum still seems pretty busy to me and I've been here for about 3 and a half years. A lot of the old school members have been on here way longer than me.

In terms of quantity I think we are not doing so badly, but in terms of quality we are probably miles ahead of forums that are largely dominated by one or maximum two word posts.....

I highly doubt it's as cold as it is for you in NY or me in TO in winter.

I dunno, some Australians go skiing sometimes within their island/continent. And New Zealand has some pretty high mountains, so I don't want to assume for the hell of it, because I assumed for Australia and got proven wrong.

its not so much a slump as when you consider how active the forum was 5 years ago when i became a member. there were also more forum sections etc. maybe there's a big flashy car forum out there that I dont know about where everyone went

also true, there are definitely fewer regular poster, but i would counter that there are more "super-posters" people that post more than several posts per day. i do also prefer the current crop than the ones that were here 5 years ago.

I know I haven’t quite made my impression at UCP yet but I must say that I do prefer the higher consistency of posters on this site compared with other sites.

    Quality over quantity.

agreed, i don't have to check in that often to keep up with the forum topics, there's no crap to wade through.
