Last night, I nicely spanked a brand new 2009 Chevy Cobalt LS Coupe with my 260,000 miles 1993 Nissan B13. By the third gear, it was not even close at all. I bet the kid in the Cobalt felt really bad.

    1993 B13 - two door coupe, 5 speed, manual, 1.6 L engine, 110 Horsepower, I-4 (2200 - 2300 lbs)

    2009 Cobalt LS - two door coupe, 5 speed, manual, 2.2L engine, 155 horsepower, I-4 (2600 - 2700 lbs)

I am about to install brand new fuel injectors in the B13 and I have no doubt it would whoop many more a$$e$.

Actually i'm not fan of racing but i'm fan of watching racers bumping to each other.

My thoughts on the older model Zs handling is that it needs stiffer sway bars and different tires. This would have been the best cost saving in improving the Zs handling. Bigger sway bars, even Nismo versions, would cost about $350. Then, add Toyo Proxes T1R tires to the Z, and you are all set. The Toyos will set you back by about $1,000 for the 4 tires. One of the cheapest places you can find them are www.tiredeals4less.com.

The newer 370z is more stiff and rigid. You can feel it when you drive.

I was surprised to find out the my Nissan B13 could whoop a 2007 BMW X3 and a mid 90s BMW E36 with catback exhaust. I had to clean my eyes thoroughly when all of this was happeneing.
