Last night I got home from my weekend vacation only to find a small pile of unread WSJ's in my box. Monday's (Aug, 24th) had an odd article to be featured in the Wall Street paper.
I'm pretty sure the only reason it's mentioned is to give a heads up to investors on YouTube's future operations. But I thought it interesting enough to share.Race-Car Fans Eager To See Helmet Abuse
A new American-based Formula One team set to start racing next season has some equipment you won't see in most race-car shops: a film production studio. Owned in part by YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, the USF1 team will operate like its own TV show, with a behind-the-scenes look at technology and the lives of crew members. "You'll see drivers going home and throwing their helmets against the wall." says team co-founder Peter Windsor.
