    German Autofest 2009

    Well Hello there UCP'ers!

Sunday last was the German Autofest 2009, held in Commonwealth place on the grassy knoll between the National Library of Australia and Lake Burley Griffin. This year saw a smaller than expected turnout (particularly from the BMW club, tsk tsk) however the show was still a glorious event, owing mostly to the sunshine and constant replays of "Ghenghis Khan" on the loudspeaker.

    Some highlights for your amusement.

    MOAR!

    2) Ten Points to whoever can figure out what makes this TT dangerous.
    3) And Proud, it would seem. Lucky, because with a Car like that (The only SLK at the event, mind) he's likely to be single for a long time.
4)Kind of looks like the Ranga kid is about to be eaten by the Beetle...or is this after.....
This last one has a "Courtesy Car" sticker on it, for lulz & profit one presumes.

This guy rode a Penny Farthing, Up and over Commonwealth Bridge.

Bear in mind, this bridge has a low pedestrian railing and about 6 lanes of traffic ready to remove him from this world.

As for the last one.....Much, Much worse.

It was a bit of a weird day actually, the location wasn't great because nearly every car has something growing out of its ass or head.

Nice photographs, IB4R. Thankfully, I have brown hair but the no rangas sign is a bit harsh.
