dunno why people bothering to wear masks. i know at uni the asian students get their little facemasks out, but i swiped a hazmat helmet from the lab then acted suprised that they didn't have one, and asked them where they'd left theirs, because you'd be crazy not to be wearing it.

    much lols were had

I'd have gone down the tried n true SARS mask path if I'd've left the house.

Forget air filters, I'd be investing in Kodak by the amount of photos....
hoping it'll hit NZ just cause we never get anything remotely interesting weather wise...we have to be the most mild, shit boring climate in the world.

it's not toxic though, so it'll just end up in the mucosa in your lungs/trachea, and therefore end up in your stomach heh. i'm not too worried about it. it's just hilarious acting like it's crazily dangerous in front of the foreign students.

Not sure, but they'd removed water restrictions for the next few days so we can hose the place down. I guess all the dust going into the sewerage system is ok?

Those dust storms look very creepy. If you guys lived in Edmonton and that heard that there was a severe thunderstorm warning, the sky would be very black. But thanks for those pics! I never seen anything like that and and its definetly good to know.
