Just make the new 8-series...or call it the 6er GT. But then again this would be idiotic because the 6er is already a GT coupe...hm.
All-time favourite BMW? 2002 Turbo and 3.0 CSL, of course. Not to forget the M1.

BMW finally does a nice clean conservative design, but puts it on the wrong car.. those crazy germans.

I would even happily settle for a standard 635CSi.

Best looking BMW since the start of the flame design debacle, i'd hit it! Really nice design, throws the 5 series out the window.

Like everyone said, 4 doors do not make a coupe. But you know what they say, if keep saying a lie it may turn out to become a truth, or something like that.

I may have understood why this BMW looks good.
As many other cars exhibited at Beijing, it was designed by the company's Chinese division.
    And without cloning something else!
    Awesome.

I see the Chinese design department has interpreted a Modern BMW in a way much more befitting the brand than their American or German design counterparts.

Kudos, Chinese designers. Now if you can convince your counterparts at Chery etc to stop ripping off other designers, it's all good

I was joking, btw, didn't check if it was indeed a chinese design (which I doubt).

IMO it looks better than the new 5 but it isn't a leap in luxury styling from it at all....if that was the mark they missed it.

    This!!

If they can bring back the 6, they can do so with the 8. That would be one hell of a machine.

I might be speaking too early, but so far I'm not a fan. It looks too Peugoety and VW CCy for my tastes.

Very little about this look good to me (though nothing looks exceptionally bad either to be fair). Take the front intakes for instance, it appears they tried to BMWify Lambo intakes, which may not be a bad idea, but in this case it's combined with an otherwise staid looking car. And please tell me we will not be seeing LED jewelry on future BMWs now as well...

Must say I like the car's bum quite a lot, except maybe for the exhausts.
