Canadian Formula 1200 series will be racing in Shannonville this weekend. With a flat track, primarily used for Motorbike racing, the F1200 series will be there. Shannonville is a very technical track. Kyle Kosir commented " Shannonville is one track you must have a good knowledge on the technical side for set up. Because the track is so flat, setting up brakes and handling for our cars will be difficult. Even tho we only hit 220 kph down the hairpin into one of the turns. If your not flat taking that turn you can lose one or two tenths of a second."
Sergio Passion who leads the championship in points will be missing this race weekend. Michael Iamundi and Phil Wang are going into the race second and third. Weekend weather looks to be fairly warm with an average of 25 degrees Celsius. No Rain is in the forecast. Bill Vallis (Vallis Motorsport Owner" Said " We should have a better understanding of the new tires will do in the heat and on a dry track. Mosport two weekend ago was way to cold to even get a good idea on what pressures to use"
