Ford GT40 #1075, which won the race two times in a row.

That jaguar Lemans car of the end 80'ies ,in which jan lammers won it .
Too bad i couldnt find a pic
Has the lemans top speed record of 400 something kms.
it also won the lemans championship back in the days.
Matra M670.
Matra entered racing to win "for the honour of France".
This car won Le Mans 3 years running - 1972,73, 74 and then withdrew after 74 having achieved what they set out to do in F1 and Sportscars.
In the process they had developed the F1 V12 engine to a screaming success. A sound you HAVE to experience once in our life
Has to make it one of the best ever.

Definetly the porsche/dauer 962 LM the road car that won Le Mans
that was no road car
best car . probably the Pug 905 ..
altough the 330 P4 didn;t won LeMans . i rate them higher then the GT40 and the 312P very close to the Matra
There is no terrible way of winning
there is just winning
Well, I would have to say that the absolute best Le Mans car of all time is the Porsche 917. There were multiple entries the two years that this car won (1970 (Hans Hermann and Dickie Atwood) and 1971 (Dr. Helmut Marko and Gijs Van Lennep)) at Le Mans, but I have one particular car that I would like to point out. Obviously, there is much credit owed to the two winning Porsches, but I have to give praise to the No. 25 Porsche 917LH (LH stands for Lang Heck, which is German for long tail) raced at Le Mans by the Salzburg team in 1970 with the driver lineup of Vic Elford and Kurt Ahrens Jr. This car was ahead of its time and changed Le Mans racing forever. Porsche was the most radical manufacturer in the early 70's, and this is a fine example of their brilliance.
The Ford GT40, currently knwon as the GT That 1-2-3 against Ferrari was amazing!
My personal faveorite car as well as LeMans winner is the GT40 and im a ford fan...so im not biased or anything

This looks like UCP doens't handle long file names, I'll look into that, in the meantime it's maybe bets to shortne the names

The Porsche 917 LH of 1970 could easily make a mess of the Ford GT 40
