Mitsubishi Evo vs. Ford Mustang GT

I know this is a crazy comparison, guys, but I'm sure everyone will be interested to know, who in the public's view is the better sports car? Send in your views!

Strictly speaking, neither are sports cars, but I think the Evo does a better a job of it than the Mustang GT. Much lighter, it's got more tenacious grip, chassis fine-tuned for twisty tarmac, super-quick steering. Rear doors and more usable back seats are just icing on the cake. The GT is about 5 grand cheaper, though. For the price of the Evo, the Mach 1 is more comparable in terms of straightline performance, but it still lags a bit in handling, grip, and braking. And personally I think it looks better than the other two.

The Mitsubishi is by far the better car. The Ford is an outdated design and the Mitsu has all kinds of modern bells and whistles. I do like the current Mustang GT because you get a decent V8 for less money than most 6cyl or 4cyl cars. If I had to pick one or the other and I was'nt going to modify the car then the Mitsu would be the one I would choose. If you plan on modifying though then you would have to pick the Stang. I think the Mach 1 and Evo would be a better comparison.

I'm gonna go with Falc500 despite all that you've said as it is very cheap and i like the looks of the Mustang better.

The new Mach 1 has an aluminum 32 valve V8 with 305hp instead of the GT's iron SOHC V8 260hp. The Mach 1 also has brembo brakes, better suspension than the GT and a cool retro interior.

The Mach 1 is really nice, I have seen a couple in the streets already and I gotta say that my favorite one is blue with the black stripe. IMO I would save a little bit more money and go from a Mach 1 to a Cobra... But then again we are already saving to go from a GT to a Mach 1

The Mach 1's hole/intake that's in its hood it's real, while the GT's is fake, is just sealed plastic making it look like a hole. Does anyone know why they did this like that?? It pisses me off, they might as well just put a flat hood and have better aerodynamics.

Topic: Evo vs GT...I'd take the Evo, less weight, more power, AWD and better looks.
