It's considered subtle because of the current 6er. Compared to the classic E24, this isn't subtle at all.

I think I like it, but I'm not sure yet. Then again this might be a result of the current 6er as well.

I prefer this one to the previous, but I don't like it.

Back looks great but does anyone else think the front looks like the revised Volvo c30??

Its alright, but I think for a concept it's not going far enough. It looks like a normal revision of the current, not like a concept to try out new crazy things that might flop.

That's because it isn't really a concept. It is the new 6er.

Can we agree on "not as polarizing as the old one" and "still not 100% beautyful"?

No modern car looks subtle compared to the E24.

I agree, it is a tad busy, particularly in the front. I still like it though.

May I suggest the Lexus IS250 is a pretty subtle car.

The E24 is not shrinking violet, it's just well proportioned and neatly detailed.

    Also, yes we can agree.

Is it just me, or are most recent designs pretty busy? I mean Mercedes CLS, this, Hyundais, Hondas, Kias etc., and now this. Seems like busy has become "cool" in car designer circles. Which reminds me of the 70's and early 80's.

Modern Mercs are still quite subtle as well.
