Just to add on the cleaning thing, the car was completed just a couple of days before the show was on, so maybe it was never properly cleaned after the assembly.
I know the body shop Pagani use is pretty good, doing also some excellent jobs on historic and vintage cars, and generally the finish is quite astonishing.
Doesn't mean this time they didn't screw up things, just guessing.
