It was only £4,000, which was brilliant value for the condition but it does have a couple of minor issues to fix. Once they're done, the car still represents good value compared to other cars at the same money.
What lead me to this car was that I didn't want another 4-cylinder FWD nondescript hatchback. I looked at small sports cars but I can't fit in a Mazda MX-5 (Mk1 or 2, the Mk3 is out of my budget, as was a BMW Z3 in good condition) and the Toyota MR2 doesn't have a useable boot. I also didn't want something with a lot of miles behind it. - I wanted something that still looks and feels as it did when new, not an old banger ready to be scrapped. Overall, I can't think of anything else for the money that would've better fitted my remit.
