As we are almost on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, it is time to once again look ahead to what promises to be a very busy event. The latest Geneva star to show its full colours is the Toyota FT-86 Open Concept. As the name suggests, this is preview of the upcoming convertible version of the highly acclaimed GT 86. With its frameless doors, the Coupe was already developed with a drop-top version in mind and accordingly, the FT-86 Open Concept does not look like an afterthought.
One of the cars we are particularly looking forward to is the Pininfarina Sergio Concept of which a first full teaser image was released. A tribute to the 'Maestro', the striking show car promises to include cues of some of Sergio Pininfarina's finest designs. You will certainly be treated to many more angles of the Sergio in our detailed coverage of the event, which will be published straight from the show floor.
German tuner Brabus will use the Geneva Show to launch a new engine range based on Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V8. The most powerful version is found in the CLS-based B63S - 730, which packs a 730 hp punch. Also due to be launched at the Swiss event, is the all-electric Volkswagen e-Co-Motion, which offers a preview of the next generation Volkswagen Van.
