I have to admit complete ignorance to all American Bantam cars other than the Jeep. This is definitely a neat little car, almost like a prewar Crosley.

Their forerunners were the American Austins and therefore the Austin Seven originally. They didn't quite catch up in the land of the free, though. I guess the engine was a tad too small for American tastes...

Its an interesting car. I have a feeling that this could be a pretty awesome hot rod. I think it would be fun to own just because it catches people's attention.
To be fair though looking at its year of production it was right before WWII and factories were ordered to stop for the war so that they could make tanks and stuff.
