My friend is on about a 1500+bhp Viper with a "Twin-Turbo Dodge D9 engine", does it exist?

Yeah, the corvette is undeniably better, but theres something so mad bout the viper (maybe coz it was made in a barn!) that it has character, not just another american muscle car
btw it aint a viper without the twin stripes!

I think dodge have got it good..... And they should keep it that way.... all everyone seems to worry about is who has the biggest engine! You have to remember at one stage Williams had a 1.5L V6 pumping 1000Hp... small engine....some would have asked why not a bank next to that (W12) but well I think the answer to that is self explanatory
I agree with the majority.......500Hp in a car the size of a shoe is enough and more cylinders would probably be pointless

Personally I'd rather have a V10 + the stock 500HP without much strain on the engine, then a V6 with (probably) 8 turbos and so much forced injection that it will break after one good drive to the grocery store
Anyways, on the subject of Corvette VS Viper: even if the corvette is better, it'll still never be a -> Viper <-
