I'll leave it to the professionals ....

David Vivian, one of the UK's leading magazine test drivers recently commented, "Never mind the new 911 Turbo, be unconcerned about any Ferrari, F50 included. The only road car swifter than the Ultima is the McLaren F1, and then not by much. On a performance-per-£ reckoning, of course, the GTR destroys that, too."

"Zero to 60 mph flashes by in 3.3 seconds... and that's quicker than any current production car we've tested."
Larry Webster Car and Driver Magazine (USA)

And that was the stock 540bhp version

It's not always about what you've got , but about how you use it

    The Ultima doesn't have 600bhp.
    The engine has 600hp.
You can put the engine of your choice into an Ultima, so long as it will fit.
You can get up to about 1000 bhp.
That shows 660hp quite a lot about power.

    Thanks for all the fish

Are you agreeing or no ? WOuld have helped if we knew, and you explained.

Anyway, egg-Nog shares an interest in lightweight performance cars with an edge

Have you seen or sat in an Ultima ?
Egg-Nog may not have, I have. They are raw, fantastic and you could afford one setup for track AND one for road for less than a "big-name supercar" and beat them in all but the fanboy posing stakes.

I sat in a red 1995 Ultima Sport, owned by a guy I know, who is actually selling it now. It's one of the only ones in Canada. Complete with a Chevy V8, and pretty much no interior . the best part was crawling into the cockpit

    GOOD MAN Egg-Nog, I didn't want to pre-suppose

I'm older and bogger, think of poor me doing same

They all dont' have much interior, mine was a trackday special.
If it didn't make the car go faster on the track it was removed !!!!
