the suspension is more sophisticated but harder to set up correctly in these compared to 964, and people are asking big $$ for them (imo- 965 mum bought cost the same as basic 993 carrera).
i also hate that the turbo model is AWD, which is a heavy clunky system.
the workshop i help out at in my spare time has both a 964RS and 993RS as long term cars. love both of them, and the 993 looks and feels newer, but the demand for them is pushing them out of reach.
for me the best 911 for the $$ is a 70's car with 3.0L or bigger engine and the iroc bumpers.

The 993 has aged so well, though I'm not a fan of the riveted-on overfenders.
