    1990 BMW 320i

    Hey guys,

just showing off my new weekend toy.

No M-Sport nonsense here. Just a huge steering wheel, small 14 inch alloys and four doors. Lots of extras like rear headrests and radio.

    Thanks guys.

This little car was actually sold to Japan when new. I cant´t even imagine how expensive it must have been to buy and own a BMW in Japan. After nearly 30 years, it was imported back to Europe with only 80,000 kms on the clock. It definitely seems to have escaped "the banger period" that so many E30s suffer from.

I have added about 10,000 kms during last two years, so it is finally getting some usage.

Definitely more interesting than anything BMW sells today.

    Smart purchase! Enjoy your ride.

What is this "Banger" period that you're referring to? Not familiar with what it means.

It is British-english term referring to old car in a sorry condition. Last stage before junkyard.

I picked up the phrase from the TV-series "Flipping Bangers". link to IMDB

Hmm, I've definitely watched my fair share of 5th Gear, Top Gear and Wheeler Dealer and have never heard that term haha.

"Clunker" would be our term, NSX.

It doesn't seem bad at all, Revo. It certainly seems to have benefited from avoiding several dozen Baltic winters.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

Interesting story, a LHD 3 series with Japan specs.

    Also, banger racing:
