Due to the global COVID-19 outbreak, RM Sotheby's have decided to hold their planned Palm Beach Auction as an online-only, time-based sale. The 250+ lots will be open for bidding today at 11:00 AM ET, and remain open through to March 29th.
The lots consigned are very diverse but the absolute headliner is this Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. It is one of 210 built and is finished in a striking yellow over black paint-scheme. Consigned with just 175 miles on the odometer, it is estimated to sell for $4.5 - 5.5 million.
Another spectacular machine in the lengthy lot list is this Porsche 911 GT2. It is one of the original road-going GT2s produced in the mid 1990s of which just 194 were built. Painted in Polar Silver with a black interior, this GT2 has survived in a beautiful condition. Having covered 30,000 km in the last 25 years, it should find a new owner for around $1 million.
We will keep tabs on this interesting sale, and will post the results once the sale as concluded.
