first of all sorry for posting something that has been said a tousand times already but i just cant help it. where i come from (tas) people will argue black and blue that skylines are the be all and end all of motoring history and just because they saw a prity one with blue neons do some rediculos jump over a bridge in fast and furious 2 they think that there beloved skyline (witch for most acounts in stock or close to) can take on anything that the road can throw at it. haveing just sat down and read the entire thread i have found nothing to steal me away from my love of supras, the simple reason being its not the favorite. yes the stock skyline may be able to beat a supra round a track and yes nissan might land its little japanees queen in more movies but to me thats exactly why i would rather a supra. every one has the concept that a skyline is and always will be faster than a supra so just imagin the respect you would get if you beet them in an aparently "infirior" car that to me would be just bliss, keeping in mind that if i could i would mostlikely get a rust bucket of a celica supra and spend a few (hundred lol) thousand doing it up so that it would beat both on the street but when it boils down to it its not about witch car is faster stock its about the owner/driver and how well he can perform and how well he can matain and modfi his/her veical because whne it boils down to it its no good haveing a super car if you cant change gears! i say this from experienc haveing seen a magna sports beat a r32 just because the r32 driver was to put it bluntly crap (she seemed to think that if she kept the car in redline long enoughf that it would change gear for her or something, im seprised that the engine didn't blow) but haveing said all that the skyline would make the more practical option for an off the shelf race car sorry again i just had to comment have the exact same agument with people all the time down here.

come on guys... be nice to the newbie!
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.
