    So the 'theory' goes that RWD has better traction out of corners. SO IF they can make use of it they will clearly win most rounds. BUT if they prevent them from fast gear changes then they won't be as whick ouf of the corners.

    Each 'tweak' has side effects and ballast used to be used but the impact of that varies with race distance. This one at least shoudl have the same impact throughout the race.

    I thought they might go more the route of Mercedes with the CLK DTM, but this isn't bad, its more subtle. I like it.

    But while they are faster out of corners in perfect conditions, they are probably harder to get right in the wet and it's possible that FWD makes some cars more agile in certain race circumstances. It's strange that they need to be leveled up "artificially".

    not at all strange.

    RWD will win on race circuits - end of story !!

    AWD will win in the wet - almost true ( it took torriential rain for the F1 one )
