The past week I was in Maranello/Rome/Mulhouse (we did 3500km in 6 days ) and I maganed to see all those cars and maybe a couple more that I can't remeber. I'd like to point out two things of the journey.

The first is the number of road signs reading "electronically controlled speed". At least 50 I'd say, but only 5 speed cameras, and hugely marked at that. No wonder italians drive massively fast... we did too...

And the second one is a 60-65 year old woman we encountered when leaving the car at the Rome hotel's car park. Would you want to guess which car she had? A Punto? A Panda... perhaps? No. A 190bhp V6 engined Alfa Romeo 166. That's the kind of woman that overtakes you in the motorway doing 150mph...

I love italians...
