    I cruise between 110-115kph....lol

I did just get a ticket in North Carolina though for doing allegedly 75mph in a 60. I am pretty sure I was barely 70 at the time but the cop is banking on I won't fight the $215 ticket 12 hours drive away...

I just saw a pair of new CTS with manufacturer plates...
I do between 130-150km/h. Depending on the hurry I'm in and the amount of petrol I want to burn.

By the way, yesterday I saw a BMW Cooper S Mk1, and heard the supercharger whine is it powered down Carrer Numāncia.

That brought a smile to my face. Ah, the memories...

One for Fleet at the Scottish Car Show.
IN among the horrendous lowered, huge camber, undrivable, ugly one liter cr@p there was a hidden gem.

    1963 Ford Falcon.
Originally owned by US Navy guy working at Holy Loch and bought by current owner in mid-70s intending to use the engine and drive for a hotrod. Realised when he trailered it home that it was in good nick and spent the next 10 years restoring it. It is DRIVEN regularly and drives to shows , not trailered. So it earns it's keep

He said parts are easy and combines new part collection with holidays in the US and brings them back on the plane. and YES a few years back he got a new HOOD (bonnet). I'd love to have seen the face of the checkin when he asked if it would fit in the carry-on rack above the seat

Anyway, only got a couple of pics. Was beautiful. The US lines without the excess size.

PS: Am sure Fleet will notice the centre console isn't "standard". The car was original column shift and he changed to floor when the gearbox let go. He made the centre console to suit.

    It was lovely.

    So... any more photos?

I don't think I've seen any car more vulgar. Behold, the chome Panamera!

Also, an incredibly cute Fiat 500. You know, the original one. I've seen it around Chinatown before.

    Cute?

It has this particularly menacing look about it. Waiting at the street corner, looking for trouble...

Yesterday I saw this. I could even touch it and see the interior.

In case anyone is wondering, it is an early 60's Mark 2 Jag with the 3.8 litre engine and four speed overdrive gearbox. It was beautiful and it sounded magnificent. It even makes our Jag feel like a bit of an appliance.
