i picked the carrera GT, just because i cant stand looking at either of those other sinful looking cars. but personaly i think all 3 of these over priced hunks are the anti-christ

The Porsche is sweet, but it seems like a big departure from the traditional Porsche street car, and after all, that is what we are talking about here.

I guess when I think of Porsche road cars I am a little narrow minded. I think of rear engined cars with opposed engines (911 912)... or more traditionally configured front engine I4's (924 944 968) or V8's (928). I know I am leaving out the Boxter, but it is a bit of a hybrid, and the 914, but...

It could be that it is just totally different than any road going or racing Porsche I am familiar with. It is too bad they didn't go forward with the racing program that the Carrera GT came from, maybe then there would be a better connection for me.

Maybe it is just that it is a V10 and that makes me think of Dodge and I really don't like Dodge. Yep that's probably it... Freaking Dodge anyhow.... I know this V10 has nothing to do with the one in the Viper or all the Ram Trucks, but somewhere that stuck with me, must have been those summers working at the dealership.

Which makes my choice of the Merc even more strange since Dodge is a division of DaimlerChrysler. I guess this just officially became a moral dilemma.
