It's jsut the Mk2 forest arches look like an after-tought where at least on the Mk1 they blend in to the shape.
Would take either - RS1800 hmmmmm.
SHame that one was wrecked on the rally at the weekend.
Straight on at a 90 right, downhill, muddy, into bank, over stonewall and rested in the trees, ripped the front struts completely out of the car.
Could be the end of a competition shell. Driver and nav were fine at least !!

Crested a brow and as the road dropped away to the right.
Talking about it later only half of us navs had called the corner as a caution from he map !!
So the other half were lucky
It's why WRC moved to full pace notes. The professionals don't like going out of rallies so easily over simple "mistakes".
I see it as a better challenge !!!

yeah more of a challenge i guess but generally when its the WRC cars crashing they are going a wee bit faster and have harder, bigger, faster dropsOriginally Posted by Matra et Alpine
On a rally in wales i think it was a group of people went there from out club and there was one slight corner down a long straight with a bit of a crest in the middle. as it was quite a long straight even the slower cars were getting upto top end speeds, anyways to get this corner correct you almost had to cut very far into the left to make it round the corner. One of the FOrd Ka driver hadnt realised this and went straight down the middle of the road, causing him to o on the grass and slide down the hill, luckilythere were some big bushed and fencing at the bottom of he could of had another huge drop off a very steep hill side which wouldnt of been nice

I used to own a 1970 2002, had to get rid of it, now I own a 1971 MGB Roadster. Both great looking and fun cars. The BMW handles better (4 wheel indipendant suspension) MG = solid rear axle. But the MG is a convertable
