i like the W8 the most, it just looks unique, and it is in that retro genre of wedge shaped supercars.

    An American disgrace.

The Vector W2 was claimed to have 1200hp from a twin-turbo 7liter pushrod V8, and a top speed of 260mph. Who would believe such a lie? This was back in 1985, when Vector first emerged; the W2 never say production, nor are there any test on the car...not surprised.

The W8, although had good technology in construction, and the pushrod V8 produced a more "realistic approachable" 625hp (I'm betting they pushed those numbers as well, unless it was less unreliable). The cheap rear suspension, heavy weight, and Coefficient drag of .55, the car was not at all supercar like. Handling and top end power was poor, oddly they claimed a 218mph top speed. Don't forget that it used a 3-speed automatic, since GM had nothing else to handle the power.

Oh the WX3; top speed of 260mph? Haha...sure thing.

Then the company was bought from the same investors that bough Lamborghini. A Lamborghini V-12 engine was put in the WX3 and renamed M12, but it "only" produced 490hp rather than 700hp.

Of course, years latter, sales where sad, and the company went bye bye.

I do love the style of Vectors. I think America has done quite well with the styling. The W8 is my favourite. Why? Well, look at it.

I think that convertable version has lost some of the great styling features of the original W8. It looks pretty crappy as a convertable.

NO; they should not start over.

And why do so many people here only care about the way a car looks
