Erm... 18.24
2789lbs and 109bhp. If anyone can manage slower than that I'll be impressed .
Mine was 15.1, 1500 lbs, 95 hp.

These don't fully model drivetrain so can't compensate forgear changes.
Nor for tyre footprint size, slip, deformation.
Or power band
OR a million other things in the real world.
A VERY few try to do all these, but end up asking you a hundred question and remove all the fun !!!
Sorry, UK, a bit of fun, but useless
Mind you I think Koenigsegg and Bugatti may have been using i tto get their 1/4 and 0-60 times recently

Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.
F1 cars weigh 600 Kg which is 1300lbs. That gives 7s for the 1/4Originally Posted by mustang123

Yeah, obviously this wasnt intended for accurate timing, as you said just a bit of fun.Originally Posted by Matra et Alpine

According to this thing, my dad's Ford Taurus (completely stock and such) should get around 17.16 seconds (about 3,300 pounds and 155hp) and my future (at least, I hope my future) 1988 V-8 Fiero with a ZZ4 GM crate engine should be about 12.61 seconds (about 3,000 pounds and 355hp). That actually doesn't sound too far off from what I've read on the 'net from people who have done similar conversions.
No-so-proud owner of a 1986 Mustang LX with the 2.3L four. Anyone wanna buy it? $500. I'll post some pics and info in the user's rides section soon.
I don't need anything too fancy, just something that can get me to the sun and back in 5 seconds flat.
I wanna see a comparison test between the Saleen SR, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford GT, and Ferrari Challange Stradale. Anyone wanna help me with that? I already know who'd win, though ;).
i got a prety close answer..i put in 350hp and 3958lbs for the XR8 and got 13.9, in reality they get about 14.2 straight from the factory, and with 10,000km's on the odometer ive heard of people getting 13.8's
I am the Stig
lol i'm getting 21 second, i can get faster than that...
This calculator unfortunately doesn't work too well for very extreme cases. Wally Larson's LE-1 GroundFighter's best real-life run was an 8.6, largely because it couldn't get traction for basically the entire 1/4 mile. This calculator says that it should hypothetically run a 6.1
Yes!!!....... the Intrepid should run about 17.19!! lol I love my lil 3.3L V6
'94 Intrepid ES (3.3L) :D
Greatness: repeated higher level performances over a long period of time.
