haha yeah, then take it to APS for their twin turbo kit i think its punching out about 450 rear wheel horsepower which is pretty decent

its not the best by far.....by refinement a Lexus V8 would eat it alive and theres others out there that have more credentials, even the new 5.7 Hemi is perhaps a better engine as it made it onto the top 10 engine list (perhaps only for the US) last year, which the VQ35 won for the 10th year in a row i think

You get on the ls1 forums in the U.S, here them cry about that hemi being a copy of the chev engine they are pissed about it.

well its definately questionable......the Hemi's a brand new engine apparently, yet they still went with OHV for some reason, and it JUST SO HAPPENS its 5.7 litres as well

i should try find the exact capacity, bore/stroke etc. the LS1's got 5665cc so i guess that'll be one way to tell. im sure if it was anything suss though, the US patent office would be on it

Yeah guess your right GM would have the $$$$ to rip them a new one if they wanted to, So if it was a copy they would be shitting right now

maybe, but perhaps if they copied it, they changed enough for people not to really notice. both manufacturers have their systems for shutting off half the cylinders though
