The mainstream cars would be part of the global "GM" brand, suitably modified for Australia.

I just think that GM have too many "all purpose" companies without any specialists, which is why they don't have very many quality specialist vehicles.

Their "sports" cars are limited to the VX/ Speedster, which is basically a Lotus, the Monaro and the Corvette.
They have no "premium" (profit making) market cars, aside from Cadillac, which are never going to be as popular as BMW, Audi or Mercedes in Europe.

    It was just an idea.
    Thanks for all the fish

In most cases the delay is caused by the demand in Europe… look’s like they are predicting that no one will want it..

How bout Mustang BOSS 302 vs Camaro Z28. I got to go with the Boss because it just looks like what a Mustang should look like. Also it has a great engine. 300+ hp from 5 liters in 1969!!!

personally i like GM beter but for has some decent cars
How many people will do this, YOU CAN'T COMPARE A Z06 WITH THE GT!!! or a mustang with a corvette.

and why the hell not? after the C6 Z06 release the vette will have even better performance so why not they are the top performance cars from both companys so they are itching for a comparison. and the curent C5 Z06 and the mustang cobra are just about the best comparison between the 2 manufacturers performance divisions both have roughly around 400hp (the cobra is very underrated) so why no?

OK, here's why...The GT sells for a cool 150k usd, putting it solidly in the supercar class, as does its 3.3 sec 0-60mph run. The Corvette sells from the mid 40k-mid 50k usd range, and hits 60mph in about 4.2 seconds(not sure but I know I'm within a few tenths). These are not competitors on paper or in real life. And why not the Mustang?? The Mustang Cobra estimated to carry around 420hp in reality, manages a 4.7-4.9sec 0-60 run, and costs about 38k usd loaded up. This is at least 10k cheaper than the base Corvette, and runs about even, however, Corvette has the heritage, luxury (I'm speaking relative to the Mustang), and racing pedigree to justify the difference. I think I have fairly explained why those three cars shouldn't be compared within reason.

agian, i compare the GT and Z06 because they are both either manufacturer has to offer as far as performance goes, the Z06 is slower in a strait line but on a track i suspect the Z06 wouldnt be far off(clearly the GT would win in pretty much any race but it is still comparable) and like i said the C6 Z06 will be more than comparable. try and read my posts in their entirety
