Yes, it's better than some, but it's not as good as some would make out.
Especially if the energy and pollutions to make the battery cells is taken into account !!!
There's a lare list already been posted of cars that make better consumption and pollution than the Prius and we've not even touched on the Peugeot and Renault cars out on fleet test in France

thats true about the battery cells i didn't think about that but u have to admit its a step in the right direction, we're still quite a bit from hydrogen power so this is the next best thing
