    2003
    215 bhp @ 5200 rpm
    245 lb-ft @ 3200 rpm
    Michelin Pilot Sport tires
    No LSD

    2004
    230 bhp @ 5300 rpm
    250 lb-ft @ 2200-4400 rpm
BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires
Limited slip diff is standard; sunroof is optional

Both should top out at 148 mph, being electronically limited. Although C&D's '03 hit 153 mph (drag limited).

Performance times are essentially the same, and with '03 SRT-4 horsepower being vastly underrated, it appears there's not a lot between them. Figures are:

    '03
    C&D
    0-60: 5.6
    0-100: 13.8
    0-130: 26.2
    1/4 mile: 14.2 @ 102 mph
    70-0: 165'
    Skidpad: 0.84g

    R&T
    0-60: 5.6
    0-100: 13.9
    1/4 mile: 14.2 @ 101.5
    60-0: 122'
    Skidpad: 0.84g
    700-ft Slalom: 64.8

    Motor Trend
    0-60: 5.4
    1/4 mile: 13.9 @ 101.9
    60-0: 112'
    Skidpad: 0.86g
    600-ft Slalom: 66.6

    '04
    C&D*
    0-60: 5.3
    0-100: 13.4
    0-130: 24.8
    1/4 mile: 13.9 @ 103
    70-0: 169'
    Skidpad: 0.86g

    R&T**
    0-60: 5.7
    1/4 mile: 14.3 @ 100.9
    60-0: 120;
    Skidpad: 0.83g
    Slalom: 64.9

    MT
    0-60: 5.5
    1/4 mile: 13.99 @ 102.72
    60-0: 112'
    Skidpad: 0.85g
    Slalom: 68.3

*C&D's '04 was 101 lbs heavier than their '03; partly due to the LSD and the sunroof in the '04.

**R&T's '04 was tested out at the high desert track in Willow Springs; unlike the others, they don't compensate for conditions.

Don't know. All I know is that R&T perferred the '04 SRT4 over my car. (Ok, not my car, but the same model I own)
THey liked it better than the Ion Redline.

The big differences are basically the adding of a limited slip differential and a new hp rating which fits what the engine has been producing all along.

Did you considered looking at the Dodge website?
It would appear that the only transmission is a 5 speed manual.
    Thanks for all the fish
