Sadly true by one of the newest, dumbest members making the dumbest post.

Come on Rob, we gave you a sandpit to play in with luke, please go there rather than continue to ressurret old posts with inane comments. We KNOW you think BMW rule, the fanboy-smell wafts from every post

I would like to take this brief moment and thank whoever is responsible for reviving one of my old threads !

Anyways, where exactly does the new CLS fit in terms of comparisons ?! Or is it going to let BMW, Audi and all the rest also start a new line of coupe-sedans or whatever they call them ?

    Yes.

Even though the Mercs are nice cars, I believe there are too many cars and models. I just can't keep up. I suppose they need to be making a profit and ensure they cover every buyers needs. Many years ago in my country, owning a Merc enhanced your social status, now the entry level Merc is in everyones budget.
