    Lighten up, capone.

First you won't be able to register an F1 for the road, it fails most safety and all emissions !!

Second, it's as useful as 0-60 bragging rights and TG laptime rights.

and finally IT IS AN ACKNOWLEDGED RECORD. It's about a car and that's what this forum is about.

    Off you go then.
I look forward to seeing you driving aboud the town in your F2004.

You'll probably have to wave, or something, because I might be distracted by a porcine display of airmanship that would make the Red Arrows proud.

Aside from that, how much is the GTR when comparing to any F1 now?

Coventrysucks wrote that "The car is fully road leagal, using only factory parts, and was running road leagal tyres" i think thats the big deal.
Real road tyres who can buy 4 F1 tyres or buy a gearbox of a F1 car
You know many car is taking 0-60 under 2.8 but are they using factory parts??

i know the kids from my street who can take 0-60 3.56 (with evo)but using non-road tyres they made 2.8 thats the difference

sorry for my memory not the kids from my street i remember these from a forum anyway

Go get one, then, since you're so great

Anyways, that thing sure goes fast. But will it, or anything else, be able to break the 10second barrier? Just curious...

Can't it be fitted with a Chevrolet 350? I think I heard that on Popular Hotrodding TV when they showed it.

American Speed Cheverolet - Custom built for Ultima.
You can stick anything in that'll fit I think, but the "standard" engine is the 350 America Speed.

    You can get 350, 377, 383, 396, 406, 427ci versions from 300 to 640bhp.

    Thanks for all the fish

A 427? Geez, I could only imagine what it would do. Almost wonder if that would be too much power (of course that's like saying you can be too happy ). Just wondering, what engine was used in the 0-100-0 record?

Remember guys a bigger engine isn't necessarily better.

DOUBLY for this record you need maximum power to weight and as low weight as you can find. After all now weight stings you twice. You need to get the big mass moving and THEN you need to stop it again

    I still rest my case

I still don't GIVE A SH#T. I'm not interested in these idiotic figures. As you folks are, then we should have records for cars for 0-150-0, 0-200-0, 0-250-0, 0-300-0. 0-350-0 etc...Anyone claiming these records? NO. By the way, my car goes from 0-10-0 in 0.5secs. Ha!

the 0-100-0 test is one of the few real tests of performance figures accepted by such organisations as the Guiness World Records. So it is quite a big deal.

If you don't like the situation, leave. Your just making yourself look like an utter D#ckhead, mate.

And If your not interested in figures, perhaps you should join another thread, as this one happens to be reasonably dedicated to this fact, and the british manufacturer behind it.

It's up to you, i'd hate to have to ban someone just for this incident, but i will.
