Eh,its not really my type of car. It's not really a shape that would get you noticed. It looks too much like a Jap-econo-sedan, with the ecxeption of the yeller one

It really isn't much changed from the VY. I'd say the new engine is a very significant change, but that Holden probably didn't have the finances for major sheetmetal changes at the same time - especially since the VE is only 18 months or so away.

Also, there is some doubt about the bonnet scoops on the Monaro. The Pontiac GTO will get the scoops. However, both Sydney papers contradicted each other on the bonnet scoops being available for the Monaro. The Daily Telegraph said they were. The Sydney Morning Herald said they weren't.
The scoop photos in Wheels tend to back up the Sydney Morning Herald - there was no bonnet scoop in the Wheels photos.
Perhaps they'll be an option only?

I like the VZ better than VY, they almost looks identical but the VZ has what the VY needed to look better

At this stage im in the i don't know yet section at the moment. Until i can see it in the flesh im not 100% sure on the front of the VZ. However i do like the new look of the Monaro i think the front and rear aren't bad at all looks a little more mean something from the past in the future its nice.

Dual exhausts on the Monaro look the part. No bonnet scoop thanks but I dont think we will get that crassness here.

ive heard somewhere that the bonnet scoops will be optional, perhaps HBD. if they werent optional, my guess is theyre CV8 exclusive (the CV6 is afterall rumoured to be returning with the Alloytec190)

I have just read up that Holden had some current and soon to be owners of monaros they voted the Vents out, So standard no vents looks like HBD will have that as a option which is ok by me but i have seen pics of the car with no vents and it is better i'll try get them here,

the new monaro looks f*in awesome, those scoops not so good though. they definitely should be options
