Well i have just got back from the dentists. In the waiting room was an Autocar magazine. Inside was a story of a guy who built a replica Ferrari F1 car, and made i road legal. He got it through SVA and now has a few thousand miles on the clock! I can't find any pictures anywhere! Damn. I just though i had better tell you before i forgot about it.

a ferrari enzo is basically a road-legal ferrari f1 car. isn't it based of an f1 chassis?

despite what EVERYONE seems to think, the enzo is NOT a road-going F1 car!!! the only resemblances it has towards one is the transmission, and its nose.......nothing else!!

I heard of a guy who made a F1 replica, with a less powerful engine of course. That's road legal dont remebr where i read about it tho.

I remembered that issue - not that long ago ... its a replica. Its not even entirely based on the Ferrari F1 car .. the only thing that makes it like the Ferrari is the paint job ... they had 2 at Goodwood - one in Ferrari and one in Silver. Theyre really really short and look nothing like an F1 car from the rear .. Ariels are better if you want something unique (Version coming out later in the year with 300bhp+ and is said to be able to accelerate under 3 secs)
