    Pronuciations

I was curious how car names are pronounced where you live. I live in the Midwest U.S., btw.

    JAGUAR
    U.S: jag-wire
    U.K: ghag-u-are

    GALLARDO
    U.S: guh-lar-doh
    ITALIAN: gee-yad-oh (I think I read that in R&T)

    Got any more?

Yes mate you are correct, in Italian we pronounce the double L as an A. Goob Job, I am glad to see that you have noticed this.

    How about Murcielago?
    I pronounce it mur-chee-largo.
I've heard people pronounce it mur-seeya-largo.
And my friend pronounces it mur-chee-lay-go.
As far as I know I'm pronouncing it as the Italians intended.
Wanna shed some light Fabio Ferrari?

As far as I'm aware, it's pur-zho. I did the phonetic alphabet in A level English, but I'll be damned if I can remember any of it. The "zh" is supposed to be like the S in "persian". It might not even be the correct pronounciation, maybe the G is supposed to be more prominant.

ia - ghu - ar (thats because J in polish is like I in english)

    lam - bor - gee - nee

    pe - jo (peugeot )
