how about some australian muscle and racing cars, Toranas, Commadores, XY 's and so on.... the sorts of things that raced at bathurst over the past 30 years
Perhaps it would attract a lot of people if there were proper articles about cars that are very common. For example my dads Citroen Xsara. There is simply no place on the web i could find with proper story and pics.Since lots of people own cars like these (i mean common cars) it is likely that they search the web with these terms. If they end up at ucp, i can hear the ad-money flowing in These cars are also not too hard to come by for pictures.
Welcome to UCP. The problems with those cars, interesting though they are, is that they hardly come to Europe, so catching them with a camera is bit difficult, unless UCP takes the trip to downunder

i will try and convince my dad to allow me to take pictures of it. be aware, this might take months, you know the process of continuous whining and naggingOriginally Posted by henk4
what if UCPers find pics? I'm more than happy to wander around and get pics of aussie stuff if they are needed so they can be put upOriginally Posted by henk4
"found" pics are normally under some sort of copyright. It would be probably OK to put them into a dedicated forum thread, but not on the main page as feature cars.Originally Posted by 2ndclasscitizen

Would taking our own pictures of cars classify though? I'd be quite willing to go out and take pictures of cars that people don't get overseas, so that they can be used for UCP.Originally Posted by henk4
^ thats what i meant, finding the cars and taking photos, not finding photos
don't take this personally but I assume you understand that also those pics need to meet certain quality criteraOriginally Posted by 2ndclasscitizen
